Cost? There seems to be a lot of confusion about whether or not the guide is entitled to a few pennies at the end of the tour. We are not paid by the council, the tourist board or anyone. That would be impossible to organise. We are the official, trained guides of Manchester. We do this for the love of Manchester history following some ferocious battles with the local Blue Badge guides who didn't want tours and wanted to censor Manchester history. We are happy for you to book for free and then pay at the end if you think it was worth it.
